DMCA & Copyright Policy

Cat-ime respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how we handle copyright concerns and where to send notices.

What Cat-ime is

Cat-ime is a free, client-side anime hub for discovery, lists, and progress tracking. We use the AniList API for titles, artwork, and metadata.

We do not host, upload, store, or distribute video files. Playback in the app is provided through embedded third-party players (for example, Vidnest). Those services operate independently and are responsible for the streams they serve.

Copyright complaints about video streams

If you believe a specific episode or stream accessible through the embed player infringes your copyright, the fastest path is to contact the embed provider directly, since they control the hosted content.

Include the AniList ID, series title, episode number, and any URLs shown in the player when you write to them.

Contact the Cat-ime operator

For anything that concerns this website directly—not a single stream inside the embed player—email thecatime@gmail.com. We use that inbox for:

Describe what you want changed, why, and include any reference links or identifiers (series title, AniList ID, source name). We will review and respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Submit a copyright complaint

To report infringement, your notice should include:

Send notices regarding Cat-ime to thecatime@gmail.com. We will review valid notices and respond as appropriate.

Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed or disabled in error, you may send a counter-notice that includes:

Send counter-notices to thecatime@gmail.com.

Repeat infringers

Where applicable, we may limit access for users who are repeatedly determined to infringe copyrights after appropriate notice and review.
